With LAREFA, you truly experience the mountains.

LAREFA — Hike, discover, enjoy

Dolomites Dream and LAREFA share an authentic, knowledgeable and respectful way of experiencing the Dolomites.

LAREFA offers private and group experiences, including hikes, e-bike tours and yoga practices.

Group outings are available on weekdays and weekends, with half-day or full-day trekking and e-MTB routes through the Agordino valleys and neighbouring Dolomite areas. The calendar is published progressively on the LAREFA website.

Private experiences can also be arranged on request, subject to guide availability: hiking, e-MTB tours, via ferratas and mountaineering routes, bivouac nights, walks with a snack in a mountain hut or yoga in nature. Destination and route are agreed together.

The short answer

October is not an emptier summer. It is a different season.

Deep colours, quiet villages and days shaped with greater freedom. A comfortable base and plans independent of altitude reveal the Dolomites at a more personal pace.

01 · STAY LOWER

Lakes, villages and walks

Lake Alleghe, Agordino villages and lower-altitude paths let you enjoy the landscape without depending on lifts.

02 · EXPLORE

Passes and scenic roads

Arabba, Marmolada and Passo San Pellegrino offer beautiful perspectives and routes to discover slowly.

03 · SLOW DOWN

A day without a schedule

A relaxed lunch, local shopping and returning to a warm home: a stay is not measured by the number of activities.

The freedom of a home

Your time.
Your pace.

An apartment means breakfast without fixed hours, returning whenever you wish and making a slow day part of the holiday.

Choose your base

Every area offers a different October.

Alleghe

The lake, Civetta, gentle walks and village services.
